Bread has been a staple diet for thousands of years, wheat was harvested in Israel every year, and when famine came, our patriarcs went down to Mitzraim to buy grain, Today, bread has so much extra chemicals, why not make it yourself, no need to wait for yeast to rise, here is the recipe:
2 CUPS OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR 1 TABLESPOON ON BAKING POWDER ONE HALF TEASPOON OF SALT 3 GARLIC CLOVES MINCED ONE THIRD CUP OF GRATED PARMASIAN OR CHEDDAR CHESSE 2 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER 1 EGG 3/4 CUP OF BUTTERMILK
Mix dry ingredients, then mix wet ingredients, then add both together
Oil 8 1/2 inch round cake pan cut 8 wedge shape cuts
Oven at 375 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes
take out of oven and let cool.
